LOJIGMA International was established in 1985 by the two directors Dr Suresh R Patel and Mr John Duncan to use their technical knowledge for using innovative textile structures for the development of performance garments and sewn textile items. Each product has been thoroughly tested in use before putting on the market, incorporating the needs of end users as well as making sure the function meets the needs of the application. Our policy is to use ISO 9001 registered suppliers whenever possible. Dr S R Patel graduated with a doctorate in Flame Retardants from the University of Leeds in UK and has a depth of knowledge in the development of technical textiles for medical use. He is involved with the development and implementation of European Standard EN 13795 for surgical gowns, drapes and clean air suits particularly for reusable products. John Duncan is a Chemical Engineer graduate from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh and in addition to his contribution to textile development he also has experience in the oil refining industry and pharmaceutical manufacturing. In 1991, a production facility was set up to manufacture sewn products utilising technical fabrics. A unique feature was the setting up of complete traceability of the manufacturing history of every product through use of barcodes and software. Lojigma offer a range of garments, gowns, drapes and sewn textile products for medical and technical uses. Development is undertaken for new technical products for any application related to the use of textiles.
